As of Now (by the guidelines released by Government of Italy on 15 december) Travelers are partially allowed to enter in Italy
In the Sense There are List of Countries categorized in Alphabetical format some categories are allowed with no Restriction, some categories need covid test and Vaccination to enter italy
– In List A, there is Vatican City and Republic of San Marino
– In B List, there are The States and territories with low epidemiological risk
– In List C, there are Several Countries which includes Romania, Belgium, Norway, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark (including Greenland, Faroe Islands), Estonia, Slovenia, Finland, Poland, Principality of Monaco, Portugal (including Madeira & Azores), Slovakia, Austria, Spain (including territories on the African continent), Sweden, Hungary, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Andorra, Czech Republic, Greece, France (including Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Slovenia, Reunion, Mayotte and excluding other territories outside the European mainland), Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands (excluding territories outside the European mainland).
– List D, United Kingdom of Great Britain, Bahrain, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Peru, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Republic of Korea, Argentina, United States of America, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, New Zealand and Northern Ireland.

Category of Lists that are allowed or not Allowed to Enter Italy
- List A & List B are allowed to enter Italy without any hesitation
- List C will have to show a negative molecular swab within 48 hours or rapid antigenic test within performed within 24 hours
- Category of List D people have to show molecular swab of not more than 72 hours or rapid antigenic test within performed within 24 hours, person who doesn’t have neither of them will have to go under self Isolation for 5 days, and will be allowed to transit In Italy once tested Negative
- Citizens of African Countries are banned to Enter Italy and also Persons who have stayed in South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini in the previous 14 days are prohibited from entering Italy, exceptions on Italian citizens who have been resident in Italy since before 26 November 2021
